About a month ago my daughter asked me for a winter throw quilt. She’s very picky, so I asked her to show me the type of fabrics she would like and I shared some patterns with her to choose from. Since her birthday was Jan. 10th but we didn’t get together until this past weekend, I made it a personal deadline to get it done. The pattern is Quilty Arrows from Quilty Love.
Sorry about the crappy pictures. It was a cloudy day so no natural light to take this in. Here’s the back fabric:
Let’s just say I’m happy to have this one done, LOL! As with every quilt I make, I learned plenty new do’s and don’ts. I feel like this one took me longer than usual too. And, just like any time you are trying to make a deadline, I had MANY unexpected interruptions this past week. All in all, I’m happy to have this one done and best of all my daughter is happy with it!
What are you up to creatively?
